Hello lovely Badger Creek families,

We wanted to share some exciting news with you all. Badger Creek Primary School has been lucky enough to receive a subscription to an online Maths Games resource Think Square that perfectly complements our whole school Maths Strategies program.

Each student has their own login (which is their first name and surname initial, no spaces) eg FredC. For a double or hyphenated surname, it is the first initial of each, eg Fred CD. In some cases, we have had to add a second letter from the child’s surname (due to multiple similar names.) eg FredCa

The password for everyone is Badger123.

Or you can type in Think Square into google and then press the play tab at the top of the screen to login.

We have also sent home a game mat for you to add to your maths strategies kit. The game was created just for our students to support understanding part part whole and using fact recall skills. It is called disappearing parts. A video tutorial can be found at the following link.

All you need is a deck of cards (A-10 for each player) and the game mat, as seen below.
