Community Connections Committee (PFA)

The Badger Creek Primary School Community Connections Committee (Parents and Friends) is a group of friendly, down-to-earth parents and carers of students at Badger Creek Primary School.

Connecting with all members of our school community. Our aim is to be involved in and around the school with daily and special events, from reading with students to the colour fun run and school open nights.

We actively help the school by fundraising to enhance every child’s experience. We do this by running many different fundraising events throughout the year, including Special Lunches, Dress Up Days, Morning & Afternoon Teas, Mother’s & Father’s Day stalls, and Raffles. All money raised from these events stay within the school and school community.

We meet once a term to share ideas for future events and discuss how we can help grow our school and our school community. Everyone’s input is valued, and we are always open to new ideas. Our school community includes the Badger Creek Men’s Shed, HICCI, and other community groups and stakeholders.

Our Community Connections Committee is always evolving, with parents of old moving on and new parents joining. We welcome new members at any time. As the old saying goes, “many hands make light work”. There are many ways in which you can help, you may wish to volunteer your time at one of our special lunches, help the in canteen, or bake some delicious goods for one of our bake sales. Any help, be it large or small, is greatly appreciated. No matter the event, we always need helping hands.

By joining the BCPS Community Connections Committee you will meet like-minded parents, make some lifelong friends, and are guaranteed a lot of laughs along the way, all while helping our wonderful school and community. We hope to see you soon!
