We have had a wonderful 2 weeks in 3/4. It is hard to believe that we are halfway through Term 4 already!
In Maths, our focus has been Multiplication and Division. Students have been busy using a variety of problem-solving skills and playing games such as paddocks and cover the field to demonstrate their multiplication and division knowledge.
In Reading, we have focused on unpacking the features of a stop-motion animation. Students have enjoyed watching Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance most fowl and discussing how framing, composition and salience are used to make the audience feel certain emotions.
In Writing, we have begun writing comics. Students have completed the planning stage of the writing process and are now busy drafting their comics.
A reminder that we sent home a letter to families about our Inquiry project this term. Students will be making stop motion animations to present at the learning expo. Please check with your child what materials they need to bring in for their set building.
Have a lovely weekend!
