In Maths we are learning all about Fractions! Our students have been practising folding paper and labelling each part of their whole. We have loved considering how fractions can help us to solve real-life problems, such as sharing a cake equally between 4 people!

In Inquiry, our students are very excited to begin designing their robots! With a small group, they are tapping into their creativity to design a Robot Buddy that can help them in some way. They’re also considering what personality trait their robot will have (eg. funny, clever, scary) and how they could show their trait in the robots design or facial features.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the families that have been sending in boxes and other resources to support the construction of our Robot Buddies. We now have plenty of boxes for our students and don’t require any more to be sent in. Thank you all for your support to resource this amazing Robot project!
