The past two weeks have been particularly busy for grades one and two. Highlights include Cross Country at the sanctuary last Friday and a performance from Templestowe Steiner School on Tuesday which was very much enjoyed by all.

Back in the classroom, students have been honing their skills by learning new strategies to add and subtract numbers. There has been a heavy focus on the place value of 2 and 3-digit numbers as well as demonstrating strategies and understanding with concrete materials. We encourage further practice of addition and subtraction at home using tools from your child’s maths pack received in term one.
