This week the whole Junior School participated in an excursion to Ceres Community Environment Park in Brunswick.

Our experiences included: composting worm farms, mini beasts and the role they play in our soil, waste in waterways and prevention strategies, farming for our own food as well as paper making resources. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the day and have already shown growth in their knowledge of living sustainably and reducing our carbon footprint. It would be great for families to engage in conversations and perhaps even set up their own worm farms or composting systems at home.

We highly recommend Ceres for a family outing if you have never had the opportunity to visit the park.
