Celebrating a Wonderful Term of Learning in Grade 1/2
What a fantastic term it has been for all our Grade 1 and 2 students! We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm, resilience, and curiosity our students have shown throughout the term. It has been wonderful to watch their confidence grow as they challenged themselves, developed new skills, and shared their learning with others.
There have been many memorable highlights along the way. Students thoroughly enjoyed participating in our swimming lessons, where they built their water confidence and practised
important swimming and safety skills. Our Book Week activities and the parade was another exciting event, with students proudly showcasing their creative costumes and celebrating their love of reading.

We also enjoyed the excitement of last Friday’s Footy Day, enjoying our morning of activities with the help of our house captains and High school leaders. Following this, it was great to see so many of our families enjoying the Inquiry Expo. The creativity and effort displayed through their shadow puppet performances was outstanding, and students should be commended for the confidence and enthusiasm they showed when presenting their work.
There is plenty to be excited about looking ahead to next term. Students will have the opportunity to visit Mont De Lancey Historical Village on an exciting excursion, participate in our much-anticipated Grade 1/2 Fun Night and Grade 2 Sleepover, and begin attending transition sessions as they prepare for their new year levels in 2027.
We look forward to a wonderful Term 4 with our students as we finish the year on a strong and positive note. Thank you to our families for your ongoing support throughout the term. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved rest over the school holidays, has a safe and enjoyable break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next term.
