Hello, I’m Shelby and today I’m going to give you some information on the Deakin University go girl go for IT, event where myself, Maddie, Eden, Harper, Emmi and Ellie were selected to go.

My favourite thing was the market because of The Toyota stand because they were making 3D prosthetic arms to help kids that don’t have arms to play with lego and nerf guns. It made you feel like you were a part of something.

During the project managers workshop, Maddie, Emmi, Ellie and Eden won the challenge where we had to make a tower stand with a piece of moving copper and use maths, design and engineering skills. Our tower was stable with chop sticks, masking tape, and pool noodles to make it.

We learnt that AI isn’t going to take our jobs it’s going to expand and create new jobs in a STEM environment.
