First Nations Best Start Gathering.

Lila, Tilly and Harper went to the best start gathering with the Yarra Ranges. We shared what we have been working on with the new garden at our school, our new sports uniform and how we support our First Nations students.

We started off with an acknowledgement all together, shared our designs for our sport uniform, and we talked about the new harvest garden and what we did to build it. We shared what we have been doing with Ange in our First Nations sessions about inclusion.

We ended the presentation with photos, and they gave us a beautiful thank you gift full of plants, bush tucker, flowers, a card, clap sticks, a language kit and a story book.

We were very thankful for being invited and for having a chance to be included with the best start.
