It’s been another exciting start to the term in Auslan.

Students in Prep are learning their emotions/feelings signs and linking them to the Zones of Regulation. The Blue and Green Zones have been covered so far.

Students in Grade 1/2 have been learning weather and clothing signs and have noticed that both sets of signs match the movements or shapes of the objects.

Students in Grades 3-6 are starting the term building their Deaf cultural awareness by playing indoor games with someone in their group wearing earmuffs. After playing Dominoes and Go Fish, we have discovered that compassion, pointing and signing make for the most effective games.
