“It’s all about relationships”

Relationships and community connections drives education at Badger Creek Primary School. We pride ourselves on the partnerships between home and school and strongly encourage families to be actively involved in student learning and wellbeing. We are always appreciative of the wonderful support we receive from the wider school community.

Badger Creek Primary School develops students to be lifelong learners who have an active awareness of the world around them and knowledge of the role they play in their education. Staff are committed to ensuring success for all children and deliver curriculum designed for individual student growth according to that student’s point of need and next stage of development.

Our core values of Responsibility, Respect, Integrity, Pride and Care & Support guide our teaching and learning and are actively promoted across the school and within our school community. Our philosophy of teaching focuses on educating the ‘whole child’ with a number of specialist programs offered including: Music, Physical Education, Visual Arts and LOTE. Interpersonal skills and health and wellbeing are developed through a positive whole school approach that promotes and celebrates student success in relation to the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.

Badger Creek Primary boasts expansive grounds with well-established gardens and captivating vistas to the surrounding mountains. The extension of beautiful outdoor spaces provides environments for learning beyond the classroom. Situated directly opposite the Healesville Sanctuary we have strong connections and links to extend our learning into the Sanctuary grounds. Regular participation and extra curriculum programs and initiatives occur frequently between the whole school and the Sanctuary. Our Stephanie Alexander vegie patch provides the school with an excellent yield of produce and our award winning chickens keep us well stocked with fresh eggs.

Please take the time to look through our website and make contact with myself or the school office if you require additional information.
